Oslo Opera House for the Municipality of Oslo

The Oslo Opera House (Norwegian: Operahuset) is the home of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. It is part of the city’s revitalization strategy to redevelop the city’s historically industrial waterfront into an active public space.

The Norwegian Opera and Ballet is the building’s end user. They are Norway’s largest music and theatrical institution. Their core purpose is to be the national producer of opera, ballet, music and dance theatre, and concerts. They have approx. 300 shows and 250,000 visitors per year. The Opera House is a workplace for approx. 600 employees from more than 50 professions.

We are indigenous: everyday – a campaign for United Nation

This poster is part of our work with the Hamer People of Omo Valley for the UN’s International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, a universal framework of minimum standards for the survival, dignity and well-being of indigenous peoples.

As stated by UN, while the landmark declaration has achieved some successes, indigenous peoples continue to face exclusion, marginalization and challenges to their right to self-determination, traditional lands, education and more.
